Travel to Burlington:

Burlington International Airport is located in South Burlington, 3 miles east of Burlington’s central business district. Rental cars, taxis and car services, including Green Cab VT, UBER, and lyft are available. Also, Green Mountain Transit provides bus service to Burlington’s waterfront Monday thru Friday, with limited schedules on Saturday and Sunday (see schedule attached here). Adult single fares are $1.50 and passes can be purchased in advance (see fare information here).

Montreal – Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport is located in Dorval, Quebec. It is the primary international airport serving Montreal, 20 km from downtown and 103 miles from Burlington, roughly a 1 hour and 57 minute drive, not including border crossing times. Rome2rio provides bus service from Trudeau to Burlington International Airport (see schedule and fees here). All major rental car services are available at Montreal – Trudeau, as well.

Plattsburgh International Airport is located three nautical miles from the City of Plattsburgh, New York’s central business district. Including a 15 minute ferry ride with Lake Champlain Transportation Company on the Plattsburgh, NY – Grand Isle, VT line, this route takes roughly 1 hour and 23 minutes with total driving time to Burlington. This ferry runs 24 hours, 7 days a week (see schedule and fees here).
